In a blink of an eye


You came and left my life like a thoughts from the nothingness.
We walked side by side and talked of times gone past.
The love for another is strong and forever.
Even if that spark floats down the river.

One loves and the other not.
But you will never leave my heart,
Your light will shine bright and last the stand of time,
Many will be touched and create you a shrine.

Relationships come and go,
Lot's I wish I have could seen,
No need to waste time in wishing for what could have been,
The time spent with you was more than dream.

Shine bright oh beautiful one,
The world is blessed to have known a such a divine one.

I'm not really a 'poetry' person, but I hate to leave your post unanswered - especially one so poignant.

This feels to me like the voice is someone that is in the process of letting go - so although it's sad, there is a sense of moving forward. I certainly hope thats the case.
